This miraculous Virgin or so called Virgin of Simala was named after by people who lived in province of Lindogon,Simala,Sibonga,Cebu. This Virgin was known for its power to grant prayers to those people who believe in her and later on became her devotees and some daily visitors.

Thousands of people visits her place everyday and ask everything their hearts desire. Some come back to give thanks and even donate money to make the church of the Virgin more beautiful.

The people who took care of the Virgin were the Marian Monks, they manages the place and the church cleanliness to make the visitors comfortable.When you enter the church, you must be bare foot especially when you enter the blessed altar were the Virgin is located. The Marian Monks believes that where the Virginstands now is also where she first appear and made her first miracle in the province of Simala.Inside of this church you will find lots of memorabilia of all the people who have witness or received the miracle of the Virgin.

Even me, who have visited her last June 2007,I came there to ask her that if she could give me the man who will be my partner for the rest of my life. And yes, she granted my prayer just after a few days of asking her, I was amazed and there on it strengthen my belief of the Virgin. I had my second visit last December 2007 and last one was last March 2008.

The man she give to me now will become my husband soon, we've been penpal for over one year and it's nice to know that we are still together. I am so lucky to know that I have seen and witness the Virgin's miracle and I am so thankful with her.


I will be coming back there in Simala to thank for everything did to me and to my family.......
